The first scan is your baseline, captured before anything is recommended or treated.

A later scan is lined up with the first. Areas with no colour overlay measured little or no change.
Reading the colours
Warm tones mark areas where the surface moved outward, from about 0.2 mm up to 3 mm; blue would mark areas that moved inward. Your provider walks you through your own map.
